On-Location Training:

We working to provide a few of the ministry training opportunities at a location that connects with the topic. For example, we’re working towards doing a creation seminar at the Columbus Zoo and a Reconciliation topic at the Underground Railroad Museum.

Training Tracks:

This year we’ll offer four Training Tracks that will cover multiple days. Students will train one day and then put into practice what they learned in a ministry environment the next day. They’ll then be able to come back and discuss what they experienced and receive part 2 to the training which will also be followed up with a second round of ministry experience.

Unified Teaching Team:

This year our teaching team will be spending one or two weekends together before the conference to prayerfully prepare and plan together for the conference. We believe this will give us a very unified message from the whole teaching team.

Sports Ministry:

Challenge has always had sports as a means of recreation, but this year some groups will be able to participate in sports camps throughout Columbus.

TWO Church Plants:

It is always our goal to leave a gospel presence behind once Challenge packs up and leaves the city it is taking place in. This year we have the opportunity to plant not just one but at least two church plants through the conference.

Greater Conference Integration:

You will experience a much higher degree of integration between our Gatherings, Training, Ministry and Prayer opportunities through the week. In this way, the whole conference will work to get across the message we will discover in the Beatitudes.

Student Video Contest:

There will be a student video contest in the months prior to challenge where students can contribute their thoughts, ideas and perceptions of what needs to be UNDONE in their world, generation, the church and our lives.
